Group Visits

Schools and Children’s Groups

A great hands-on experience with friendly animals for children of any age, all in a safe, clean environment. Most groups allow around two hours for their visit.

There’s no restriction on group size, the park’s large enough to hold plenty of people at once. We ask for at least one adult per seven children, with a higher ratio strongly recommended for younger groups, in line with your own school policy.

Group Visits

Guided tours can be booked with one of our English speaking tour guides, or your group can choose to make their way around the park on our easy to follow circuit track.

A highlight is tasting our Te Waireka/Sweet Water straight from our spring.

We require (at the minimum) one adult for every seven children. A much higher ratio of adults to children is required when accompanying young children, as per your policy.

The park is available any day of the year for you to visit.

We are open from 8.00am with last entry into the park at 5.00pm. The Lion pride can be viewed at any time of the day.
